The Southern Cross AXC Generating Set is a 1 kilowatt 32 volt plant that uses battery storage and is fitted with an electric starter it has sufficient capacity to operate 16 sixty watt and 1 forty watt lamp or the equivalent in lamps of other sizes and electrical appliances such as fans, refrigerators not requiring more than 1000 watts
Fitted with the Southern Cross AXC single cylinder petrol engine 3 Hp @ 1800 Rpm
