The Southern Cross PA-A 3 Hp (Small P) Petrol Kerosene Engine was the first engine designed by Southern Cross that was not a copy of another maker. The Southern Cross Kerosene Engine was a power unit available for intermittent work such as shearing, auxiliary pumping, wood cutting, etc.. It was especially built for such work. Its design was strong, simple and efficient, so that anyone could easily understand and operate it.
